W. L. Lillard is the president and CEO
of Star Planet Television and Associated Companies. W. L. is a prominent lecturer on economic development, a yoga master and also hosts the talk show
"Straight Talk, which airs on starplanettv.com, on the
world wide web. 10:00 am Monday through Friday.
W. L. is a graduate of
Sussex School of Technology, in Sussex, England. He holds
a Ph.D. in Criminology.
From 1958 to 1970 he was employed as a
Police Officer, in Phoenix, IL, obtaining the title of Captain
and supervising a force of 50 full and part-time police officers.
While working for the Cook
County Sheriff's Dept. he was appointed Chief of Police for the
Maywood, IL Park District Police Dept. in 1985.
W. L. retired as an investigator
for the Cook County Sheriff's Dept. in 1991, ending his public
career to devote his undivided attention to Star Planet Television
and his other businesses.
